A fresh 48 photo session is done at the hospital as soon as possible after the birth. The aim is to capture the raw emotions that accompany the miracle of birth: the joy of the mother and father, the laughter, the tears. Perhaps the first meeting of the siblings!

HOW LONG DOES A FRESH 48 PHOTO SESSION LAST?
This is a very quick session that lasts less than 30 minutes. I capture the moment as it is, take a few closeups of the baby’s hair and other details like the first cuddles with parents, feedings and cries.
WHEN TO PLAN A PHOTOSHOOT AT THE HOSPITAL?
The best time to plan a fresh 48 session is a few months before the due date. We can discus your expectations, what is important to you, and make sure that when the day comes, we are ready. Booking a maternity session is a solution for us to meet and discuss everything in person.
I understand how hard child labour is (I have a son!). You may be super tired and not have slept within days – but a Fresh 48 session is extremely unique and special.
Just remember, I won’t expect anything of you. I come and document the little miracle you will be holding in your arms and the fleeting moments at the hospital. Plus, your hormones will make sure you not only make it through, but you will actually be glowing!
