As a photographer, I find that photos are all special in their own ways. But, I think newborn photos are the most special of all. They literally make my heart sing. And when you add a toddler and a dog to the mix, you know magic is going to happen!
NEWBORN PHOTOS ARE MAGICAL ✨
The mum contacting me was super lucky. The baby was already a few days old and she was thinking about taking some family photos when she saw my post on Facebook. Fortunately, I had availability that week and we met straight away! It was not long after the confinement, and I was super excited as I hadn’t had a newborn session in some time.
We had so much fun during our session. Her little boy was a sweetheart and even though he was just over a 1,5 years old, he understood so much. He was full of energy and in a playful mood, but acted so delicate when it came to his little sister. Since our photoshoot was just a few days after the baby’s arrival, we were able to capture some of their first moments together.
Another element that made the photos special was his curiosity. His new little sister was just a few days old, so he really didn’t know what to think of her! Capturing the way he looked at her, full of interest and confusion, beame another story evident in the photos. They are sure to spark memories when the family looks back at these photos years from now!
