As happy as I am that a new year started, I am grateful for what 2020 brought. It was a year of growth for me both professionally and personally. We began last year with a baby and ended it with a little boy. He will be turning two very soon and already knows what he wants all too well. Our family grew closer as we spent far too much time at home cuddling and laughing together.
Another silver lining to being locked indoors is that I got to document my son’s rapid transformation. Following him around our home with my camera, I ended up improving my photography skills like never before.
THE PRIZE: BEAUTFUL FAMILY PHOTOS
At the end of 2020 to celebrate my journey, I organized an Instagram competition. The prize was a family photo shoot with me! The lucky winner, whose photos you can admire if you keep scrolling, welcomed me into her home in Le Cannet right before the second lockdown. I am so happy we managed to create this beautiful album together.
There were so many upsides to working with this lovely family. She styled her family beautifully and the girls were amazing to work with. They were so kind and playful, we even made a cake!
