As a lifestyle family photographer, my goal is to tell your story just the way it is. I want to show the love you share naturally and display the beautiful surroundings of your home. I will guide you a little bit, of course, to create a more picture-friendly version of your everyday life. But you’ll do most of the work for me, by helping me to get to know you a little bit. So how does that happen? Read on.

LIFESTYLE FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER THAT TELLS YOUR STORY JUST THE WAY IT IS

In order to get to know you better, we have a little chat before our session. You can tell me a little bit about you, your family and your lifestyle. Share with me where you live, if you have kids, how many, and if you dream to have more.

Before the shoot, I also send out a short questionnaire. This involves basic questions about how you spend your time, what makes the kids laugh, etc. It gives me a behind-the-scenes glimpse of what goes on at home. Thanks to all of this, we can envision our session together. It helps me stage the shoot in my head before I even arrive! Naturally, we adjust as we go in order to create the most beautiful results.

CREATING BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES WITH LOVE AND LIGHT

I don’t carry much equipment. I don’t use lights or props. You have everything I need at your home! To take the most genuine photos, I love the families to incorporate their own possessions. So, I work with natural light and usually use just one lens, my favourite 24mm.

During the shoot, I work to be as efficient as possible and never miss a moment during our short time together. It is those beautiful in-between moments — when you think I’m not looking — that are often clients’ favourites!

The most important component of all my sessions are the people I photograph, their natural and loving connections, the closeness they share. My goal is for you to spend a wonderful time with the people you care for most: I want you to play, fool around, laugh, and cuddle! In the end, I am simply there to document the beautiful moments you enjoy every day!
